Fajr Int’l Film Festival extends submission deadline

Fajr International Film Festival has extended the deadline for the registration and submission of Iranian works to the 38th edition of the event.

Those interested to see their films attending the festival have until February 22 to fill the application form.

Meanwhile, the deadline for submitting the works after applying for the upcoming edition has been extended until February 29.

The international version of the festival will be held on April 16- 24, 2020.

The 38th edition of the national edition of the festival took place on February 1-11 in Tehran.

The Fajr Film Festival coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr (Dawn) ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Since its establishment in 1982, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran every year.
